Contest Options
1.The bains of marriage / and or faithfulness. Was man ever meant to be faithful? Were we ever meant to be with just one person? Write a poem about anything around the topic matter.
2. Write a poem in reply or based upon one of your own poems or that of a fellow contestant. Maybe you are influenced by the topic matter, maybe you are influenced by their style, maybe you disagree with what their saying completely! This option is open to many possibilities so make this option what you will. Please post a link to the poem and poet you are responding to in your Authors Comments.
3. Freedom, Hope and Inspiration - is there an event your looking forward to that will change your life? Do you think it will actually change anything?
4. I want you to write poem based on any of my poems posted on this site. I have over 200 poems, so you should be able to find a theme to write your poem on. You can find my works at :

5. I want you to write a poem based on the works of RhymingObituary. You can find his works at :

Rules
1. Anyone who does not abide by every one of the rules will be disqualified without notification. Your work will not be read, no comment will be made on your poetry and your work will not be considered in the final judging.
2. Always use spell check and no StIcKy Caps.
3. State the option number in Authors Comments, along with a brief description of your poem.
4. Minimum poem length 3 lines maximum poem length 16 lines. Poems submitted to the contest before 19/03/2006 can be up to 20 lines long maximum.
5. Make sure your poem is well presented and readable.
6. One entry per person, 20 maximum entries in this contest.
7. On topic pre written poems only, no short stories, rants etc.
8. Make sure all views expressed in your poems are respectful.
9. Please remember to paste a link to the poem and poet that influenced you in your Authors Comments. VERY IMPORTANT
10. Be careful not plagiarise. Plagiarism report to the moderators and instant disqualification.
