Okay, this is pretty straight forward. Everybody has somewhere they go sometimes to get away from everything. All i want is a description of it - but in the style of a poem obviously.
It can be absolutely anywhere, just somewhere you can be yourself and feel happy at the time no matter what the past is or the future.
You could even write about the destruction of your sanctuary.
There are hardly any rules;
Your sanctuary can include people,
I would like poems that are related to the contest as I am being very kind and allowing pre - writes!
GOOD LUCK!

Thank you, Im glad that you liked my poem. Yes, it does come from the heart, I wrote this a long time ago though, I was going through this mid life crush thing, and I dreamt of us together in a forest of green, "I saw through the darkness, but it was only a dream" It did come from the heart, and I am so happy that someone else liked it! Thanks!
