Love, Astronomy & Nature

there are many things i'd like to read in poems, so i just put down 4 of the main topics that i'm interested in:

love - against or for love, i don't want something totally angsty or over-emotional, simplicity and originality perferred

astronomy - does not have to be scientific, i just like the subject of stars and such, if just use them as a metaphor like once or sumthing... that's ok

nature - again, nothing overly dramatic or descriptive... looking for emotional, yet, relevant pieces

no sticky caps, please check spelling/grammer, sexuality in a sensual manner is ok but no dirty erotica, one entry per person, if it's a prewrite, it better be good (lol)

depressing poems are ok but i'm kinda already depressed so if it's not very good, stick to more happier things but if its an awesome sad poem, go ahead and submit!

this is my first contest so go easy on me...

thank you so much for the silver trophy,
(you mentioned this was your first contest, i learned by my own mistakes, it is good to list the awards you select in your "final notes", as when you look back on it later (if you do) sometimes folks remove poems from contests after it closes and you might not remember who won...and so if it is listed in your comments you will have it there. also, the contest host leaving a comment in the poem is considered really 'contest etiquette' and though it is not required at all, it is such a great part of contests. i am just passing this along to you as someone did to me after my first couple of contests, please accept my apologies if i am not wording this right...anyway, i appreciate you reading my poem, very much! and i look forward to reading yours too
