Give me your best if you wanna be published!!!!!!

This is a contest for teen poets only! All categories are welcome except erotica and homosexuality. First through third place will be published in collision magazine-
you can check out our temporary site here www.livejournal.com/users/collisionxmag/
I will also list ten Honorable Mentions who will be published as well.

Rules

1. nO sTiCkY CaPs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. EROTICA IS FORBIDDEN! (anything sexual is forbidden)
3. no swearing
4. check your spelling
5. you have to be a teenager (12-19)
6.so that i know you read the rules write 'Broken Wings' in your author comments.
If you do not read the rules you will be DQ (dairy queen?) NO!

And it would be nice if you could comment on some of my poems so I can give the HM's a bit of points. Thank you!

    First I want to apologize to everyone for taking so long to jugde this contest.
    And I would like to tell you why...
    I have never gotten 95 entries in a contest before and I was trying to read them as fast as I could but then my dads computer screen busted and I had to wait until he got it fixed.

    Okay now that's over let me tell you who won!

    Hmmm... I am almost 12, does that count? I would really like to enter this. I respect that you want a teen contest, but I was wondering how strict you were and if I could perhaps enter... Anyhew, best of luck with this, and may it be very successful.

    Hmm interesting.

    And because I must ask, though two before me have already, why no homosexuality? Is it a rule of the magazine, perhaps? And if that is the case, do you know why? I'm just curious.

    I know alot of parents who won't let there kids read things that have homosexuality in it. And it is a very big subject so it's better not to have it.

    Yea umm i see how you always like, comment on other peopels poems, but ive read them all and mine has to be in the top ten..most of these say the same exact things..only like 6 or 7 are actually good enough to be published. And what are you, do you work for the magazine. Is our work going to show up in that article with your name on it? Something dont sound right to me
