    A pity there were only three poems, but I liked them all and don't, I think, need to lower standards to award prizes. I may try to run this contest again later, but if so will promote it more.

    quickie question could i use a quote by Edmund Burke and inoorporate that into my own poem or does it have to be precisely about either man??

    It seems people simply aren't interested in the sort of contests I have tried to encourage - ie writing about subjects other than their own disordered emotions.

    I don't think featuring it would help m,uch because people who enter contest browse the regularly. However, I will give it a go.

    In any event there are enough entries for a prize.
