Hello, I was going to have another contest with my friend Arsenic but he is thinking of leaving allpoetry due to one person on here causing trouble. He is a wonderful person and poet. He loves writing and I know he would miss it and the friends he has made here. Please tell him why he should stay. Even if he decides to still leave, he will know how you all care and are going to miss him and his thoughtful poetry. He is a very private person so he may be a little mad at me when he reads this, (smile now) 
but I wanted to do this for him. He needs cheering and I know his friends and even those who don't know him will encourage him to stay and keep writing. Thank you, Sandygram

this might be a stupid question, but why does he not just ignore the one person? i have no clue as to the politics of this site, so forgive me if i sound confused. but how can one person chase away someone who is writing on a poetry site? i support your contest with an applause, and truely hope no one person ever has that much influence over me.

I agree with the others. You do run into people here like that. They dont have anything better to do that find someone to mess with and they are relentless. What I was told though was to just put that person on block so he cant send you messages and he wont be able to leave comments on any of your pages.
A new screen name also works. I had to do that myself due to a few people who were harrassing me and I was kept busy putting names on block.
I hope this person you are talking about doesn't let anyone drive him away. AP is a great place to write.

Hi, I've not up to now read any of Arsenics work, (but I shall) I do know one thing though,Ap is a great site, and it's a shame there is a minority thats soul intent is to use it as a means to hurt. I lost a friend to because of someones childishnes. Please don't leave Arsenic, don't let them win!!! At the end of the day THEY are the minority....C'MON you can do it,Lets leave ignorance to the ignorant......mal

Thank everyone who entered. It was very touching, and I apreciate each and every one who bothered to encourage me not to go. This all started when I just got fed up with people taking advantage of being able to send messages without telling who they are. I told Sandy that it wasn't worth staying around any longer, that those people are always there, and I don't need this in my life. Well, she and others have encouraged me to look beyound thoes into the good that is done here. I also saw how mis-communications and either reading between the lines (or failing to read between the lines) matters so much. I know I've not done well on all counts, and am trying to live to be the person I claim to be. Thank you again for your words of encouragement.
