I am starting this contest because I am pissed.
I am pissed because California just murdered a man that was nominated for five Nobel peace prizes.
I am pissed because a dear Friend of mine is about to lose her 14 year old son to cancer, right before Christmas.
I am pissed because it is 20 degrees outside right now and there are people on the streets freezing.
I am pissed because it's Christmas and there are kids that will have nothing but bread to eat at the holidays.
Yes, this makes me sad, but it really pisses me off that all of this is happening in America, we have so much here, we are the richest country in the world, yet people are still starving.
We are supposed to be the country that everyone wants to come to because of it's "opportunity", but there is so much suffering.
I cannot explain it, it's like, why do I feel like the people who really want to help can't because of the stupid stuff like financial concerns, but the people who should be helping aren't because of, well, there really is no excuse.
What I want is your anger, I really want it.
I know that this is Christmas, and that we are supposed to be all jolly and happy and thankful, and I am, trust me. I have alot, but I just want those of you who feel the way that I do to show it, give me all you got.
There really is no rules, just go at it.
As far as the points go, I have alot, first will get 300, and I will figure out what else to give when it's over.

please, do not give me a whole bunch about love, I know that relationships can be hard and that they piss people off, but that is really not what I am going for here, if you read my description, you will understand what I want.

Yep. Sounds like you are angry. Wow.
I agree that it is a sad situation where in a country that caters to the rich, famous, and just revels in it's wealthy that children still starve to death. Where people will spend 50 dollars on a pair of jeans, when a those jeans (the price) could of fed a hungry baby. We turn our heads to avoid seeing the sad, lonely, down and outs. . .but become excited about the new paris hilton perfume (which is way overpriced). It's a sad society. . .but in all honesty can we all really bitch? With all the useless junk we buy, the money that we waste on cute little baubles. . .food for thought, I guess.

hey, i understand alot of your pissed's..but California didnt murder anyone. i hate california to, but the man was a gang banger. he killed four people. he may have changed his ways, but justice/vengence will still catch up with him, as was seen today. no offence intended...

As we mature we become more focused and realise that being angry over what others do or not is counterproductive. Focus on what you can do and make a difference. I work to change my world instead of screaming about how it is.

That is what I am saying, people like you and me will do what we can, even if it isn't that much, but there are also people that have the power to make a change and are to concerned with spending their time and money on other things., thank you for your comment. The probelm is, there are to many of us NOT screaming about these kinds of injusices. Sure, we should all do what we can to help change the world, but expressing yourself in this manner does not help get out the fact that there are not enough of us willing to help. It's just anger, not anarchy, and I am focusing on what I can do to help change the world, you don't know a thing about me or what I do day to day, and I resent the fact that you would be so quick to pass judgement on someone or something that you know nothing about. If you would like to enter, I would be more than happy to read it, but I just want people to show that they are upset about this and it's not just something that you can put a dollar into and walk away from.

I know it's not California, but the whole thing is up for debate, my husband and I just got done talking about it, it can be argued either way, over and over and over again, this is just my opinion. I think that the fact is, look at the message that we are sending to people: No matter how much you mess up, you will never be forgivin for it in the laws eyes, no matter what you do.

I know about Anger. It is very destructive to the self first. It must be channeled. It must be understood and used. Lessons are there and a host of solutions that cause regret. Anger must be kept sober and in tow. I hope many get to this contest. I am pissed about the murder of Tookie but my anger must reflect maturity and less less sin. Anger but sin not. We sin all the time. Anger but sin not in thine anger. Peace.

Actually I can completely understand anger at this point.. My whole thing is I too strive to make a difference. Last year alone I put in over 600 Volunteer hours on this base, helping kids being a coach, working with just about every organization there is. And then some..
Then the rug gets pulled out from under you, and frankly it just hurts. Your head and your heart. So I can see your pain and say I am with you.. Take Care and I hope this helps hon,

So, this man who was nominated for the nobel peace prize. you left out the number of people he killed. he was on death row for a reason. even if he is sorry, that does not take back the fact that he took another human's life.

He didn't actually write the books; he had a ghost writer, the woman that is screaming the loudest. He had the chance to write the books, his victims don't have any rights. The books were part of a set-up for an appeal..he wasn't sorry, and frankly I am tired of my tax dollars of feeding people like him and manson. Schools teach children about gang life. My husband teaches kids that are in a prison. Not juvie..a prison. They are mean and charged with things like robbery and murder..many of them crips.. little clones.

Reading the first few sentences made me laugh because "I am pissed" means "I am drunk" in English. It was only when I realised you were sober but annoyed that I stopped laughing. Are you annoyed that your country has invaded Iraq too?

Yeh, basically, I am pissed about alot of things that are all directly tied in with this country. I am pissed about Iraq, mainly because our lovely president should be spending money on better things than the war considering NO ONE supports it any more.

I wasn't sure how many entries we were aloud but if you want to pick your favorite of my two and remove the other from the contest you may if not whatever. I can understand your anger towards the homeless and hungry, there is no reason for it especially when a grocery store manager can make a million dollar bonus every year. Anyway good luck with the contest and I really like your background, it is groovy!
