Having Courage

Yes!!! WOO HOO another contest. This time it's all about courage!!!  I want you to write a poem, any length or form about having courage.  Write about someone you know  who was courageous, or yourself  and what you or they faced. It could be life's struggles, war, adversity, or sickness. Anything they may have faced and been courageous in overcoming. God Bless you, Sandy

    Second Place goes to Curling to Courage by shewolfnative. This was a most amazing story woven through beautiful poerty. So heartfelt. An amazing write. Thank you for entering

    Third Place goes to Daughter Mine by BonnieQ. This was such a heartwarming story. It is what family should always be about. Loving and caring for each other . A beautiful poem. Thank you for entering.

    I thought these three were the best but it was so difficult to decide between them. They all touched me in an emotional way.

    Interesting topic for Christians, since I tend to see what we call "courage" for a Christian as the "fear of God". It works this way: If a man can bow before the Lord, he can stand before any man.
