Well I just thought of this idea, I wish I would have sooner, but such is life, tomorrow is my son's 17th bday, his name is Alex, and he is NOT a poetry fan, BUT he loves rap, which I have tried to tell him is a form of poetry. So the challenge is to write a rap, it doesn't have to be about him, but i will tell you some things about him in case you want to go that route.

music (louder the better)
playing pool
humour, he's a funny kid and loves to laugh
loyalty
snow machining
his dogs, hali (halitosis)a golden retriever and eddie, a hybrid wolf
and the kitten ,tovah (who loves him to death)

boxing
video games
he has a brother Derek and a sister Jessica
he hates
school
injustice
and cleaning his room !!!!
well cleaning anything actually
have fun.........rap on dudes

he sounds like such a fun kid to write a poem about Yakirati, but I don't think I have a rap-beat worth beating out of me! see what I can do though, but really love the theme and idea of this contest!
