Inspiration: Writers Needed

==Intro==
Quick, simple.  I don't have a lot of time to put thought into this section so listen up!  Below is what I want you to write about.  These are things you MUST use in your work.  It can be anything as long as it follows some very simple...also listed below so you'd better read them all or I'm deleting your work from this contest and putting you on my block AND ignore list.

Thank-you,
-D.D-

Inspirations

1. Death Writers.  You are the gun.  Tell me what you are doing, feeling, everything.  You must go into detail.  You can't say something like "Pull the trigger, you're dead." or "bang, bang."  You get the idea right?

2. Love Writers. You can only use adjectives in odd numbered lines.  (including empty lines)  An adjective is a word that describes a noun.  A noun is a place, thing, object, name, etc.  If you still don't know what an adjective is, look it up in a dictionary.  (dictionary.com)

3. Fantasy Writers. Your name has a first letter.  Whether you use your actual name or the name I see here, it doesn't matter.  Use that letter as the beginning letter of the star character.  That letter can be its kin, its name or even its rank, but it must be something important to this character.  Now, that character is required to do one last thing: Whatever you hate/fear the most.  That's what they have to do.

4. Funny Writers.  Everyone knows how silly misinterpretations are.  Your job?  Tell me about one.  Like all those jokes about flies in soup.

5. Confused Writers.  For those of you that don't like the four options above, here's yours:  You have to write something using one of the following poetic forms.

--> a] rhyming couplets
--> b] rhyming triplets
--> c] rhyming couplets with the same letter starting the two lines
--> d] rhyming triplets with the same letter starting the two lines
--> e] rhyming couplets at the beginning of the lines
--> f] rhyming triplets at the beginning of the lines
--> g] rhyming every other line
--> h] rhyming every other line with the same letter starting the two lines
--> i] rhyming every other line at the beginning of the lines.
--> j] use the following numbers as the syllables per line: 1, 3, 5, 7, 5, 3, 1
--> k] use the following numbers as the syllables per line: 2, 4, 6, 8, 6, 4, 2

== Rules ==

2. Grammar matters, use it.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on January 7, 2006
  • Rewards: Gold: 300
  • Final notes:
    Oky. I was extending and extending and extending this silly thing, but I've come to the conclusion that:

    1] People don't read rules
    2] People don't enter valid entries
    AND
    3] People don't care that I take a lot of time in developing and hosting these contest.

    I'm very upset by that, people and if didn't get the prize, tough. I'm not going to say sorry this time aroun!

    Siiiiis seriously! The COMMENT rule? Augh! I've damned that rule to eternal hell fire, sissy. I usually refuse to enter any contest with that rule in it. Of course...you did say that we could comment on the contest too, but still! Seriously...I really really hate that rule. I hope you won't be using it in the future.

    I'll give you an example.

    Writer's name is: Marian
    AP handle name is: EnglandRoyal
    Choice of letters for character are: E or M
    Name of Character: Ella
    Writer's biggest fear: Swimming in stormy weather out at sea.
    Storyline: Ella must do something in which she has to swim in stormy weather out at sea.

    Also: Blood is PG18. Think of PG18 this way: if I was 18 and I couldn't get into a movie with it in it, then it's over PG18. I hope that helps.

    Hee, Hee

    I was just getting sick of people not reading my rules, Sis. I was just checking to see if anyone bothered. I don't think I've ever had to deal with so many lackadaisical slops that just under something so pointless it's not worth the click to find out it is so. Anyway, You silly, Sis.

    This contest doesn't allow prewrites. I can't repost my poem here because I submitted it already to the "fake" contest.

    Not the usual stuff I write, but thought I would try something different this time - thanks for hosting. Some good choices. Happy New Year!
