Adult Farie Tales ~Stories welcome~

This is my 3rd contest in what I hope will be a long list of future contests

Ok, here is what I want you to do:

Take any farie tale or nersery rhyme that is innocently sweet....
There are a tun to pick from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, Princess and the Pea, The Goose Girl, The Magick Flute, Tom Thumb, Thumbalinna, The Little Mermaid, and East of the Sun and West of the Moon are just to name a few of the extreemly long list you can choose from.

Next I want you to take the stroy you have chosen and write it in the old fashioned way they used to be.

Sound simple, and perhaps for some it is, but I think I need to clarify what I want a little so please read on.

Farie tales of old were ment for the adult croud. They were the coartly entertainment of those that could aford it and used to be written very 1. dark and twisted with gothic horror made to scare the piss out of you and force you to be good
or 2. erotic and steemy but still having some moral lesson in it.
they were not sweet they were not disneyfied and they were not for children.

They became for children when the staff transfered them to their own smalls to make them go to sleep at night usually they still had their terror factor and were ment to frighten you into sleep but of course what any mother has learned children have nightmares if influenced by horror before bed so they started to change them over the years untill they became the stories we know today. Did you know that in the original version of Cinderella the step mom cuts the big toe off one girl to make the shoe fit and the heal off of the other.... their dripping blood makes the prince see the truth. and at the end the birds peck the eyes out of the step mom and the two wicked step sisters.... and in snow white the queen is made to ware hot iron shoes and dance for the harm caused to snow white? wow not the way you remembered them right?

You may also choose to tell the story from another charictors point of view especially if it twists it more. one of the adult farie tales I read before was the pied piper of hammlin from the rats perspective and it took me till the end to figure that out..... it was skin crawling and creepy in every way. or you can choose to change the time period say set it in the future with space alians and such, or old western days and such suprise me...

So now you have an idea of what I want, but if you still need some ideas then look into the following 3 books which are chocked full of adult farie tales. and no cheating I have read a lot of these adult farie tales so give me someting totally your own and very creative.

ok the rules are simple, I figure that is only fare since the contest is so hard...

1. Put the original tale's title in your authors notes so that if its not clear I can figure it out.

2. Be creative~ twists and turns are what draws you in to any good story. make sure you flesh it out with the detales and give it lots of texture. I want this contest to be worth my hard earned points, of wich there will be a lot.

3. All the usual things aply such as no StIcKy caps shit or chtspk
it doesnt fit into this contest at all and makes everything harder to read. so please save my eyes.

4. I can't spell so I wont notice spelling errors but it erks the heck out of some people so hit the button its that simple.

5. Sorry no prewrites on this one.... I was bajered into letting them in my last contest and sorry but most of the pre-writes were not all that great, and besides this is a very specific contest, and I doubt any of you have any adult farie tales on your pages already, but if i am wrong you can send me a message and I'll go to your poetry list and read it and see if it will be allowed. I am leaving this contest open for the longest I can so you have lots of time to work on this and therefore prewrites should not be needed.

6. No works in progress. I know this makes it hardere but these stories and nesery rhymes are short and so this shouldn't be outragously hard. This means that the story must have a begining middle and end with full charictor development. dont skim through it or you wont get the points. I want a little meat on the bones not a skeleton.

7. You may choose to tackle this contest in the form of a poem. this is a fun twist but the poems must tell the story fully if it doesn't then it waists my time and makes me want to give the points and cups to another. but if its done right then a cup could go to a poem I am judging all equally

8. I will read all of the entries and since I expect all to be a bit on the longish side of things i would be grateful if you left me only one entry per person.

9. I will coment on all of your entries, I will be very constructive with my critisim. I will try and help each person who writes in to this contest become a better writer and make their works more polished. most of the commtnts I write are worth 7 points so you know they will be good feedback. Because of this I would be very apperciative of you if you took a few moments to read and comment on one of my stories or poems. But this is not manditory! also I think it promotes good interaction on the site if you coment on each others submissions. So as an insentive there will be 50 points given to the best critic, the one who makes the effort and reads the most of the other submissions and makes worthy coments will get this extra bonus so if you want it go put in your two cents.

10. currsing and erotica is allowed but if your using something that isnt for childrens eyes please put a warning in the two line about your poem spot. That way no one will be offended by accedent. even though this contest says adult in the title does not mean open only to adults... its open to all, so protect the innocent with your warning.

oh and the best rule of all have fun. ok now get writing I cant wait to see what you come up with!

i have written a story myself as this contest has inspired me. any of you chenck it out, read it and coment on it i will give you an additional 15 points. but your coments on it must be constructive and well thought out i will not give points for anything like 'wow this is good' or 'i liked it' so do the 15 points justice and give me something really good. the stoy is called once upon a time and can be found on my personal page. thank you.
