Ok this contest is pretty simple really. You write dark/depressing poems that fit under the following categories. Prewrites will be allowed but only if it is something that is very amazing. And all new poems that are good will be getting brownie points (applause's) to show how much I want new poems. Then I will judge them and the three I like most will get trophies. Simple huh?
So the categories are::
1:: A poem with the title manipulation (For ideas read my poem titled 'Manipulation'.
2:: A poem about dying for the one you love. Reasons why and what lead you to the decision.
3:: A suicide letter or note. In the form of either a poem or letter. Make it seem real. Make my heart bleed.
4:: Write a poem with the quote 'I Love you - Three words, a thousand thoughts'. It could be the title of your poem or it could just be inspired by it. Put in authors comment how it was inspired ect.
5:: Write about how much you love someone but they are on a path of self destruction. How however hard you try to catch them they keep on falling. *BROWNIE POINTS FOR THIS OPTION*
Now for the dreaded rules Mwahahahahahah!! But thankfully there aren't all that many of them.
1:: No StIcKy CaPs - not that I have ever seen a poem written in one but you know.
2:: Maximum of 3 entries per person! And if you have to have a prewrite you can only have one.
3:: You do not have to comment on any of my poems although it will earn you brownie points. You do not have to comment on anyone else's poems either.
4:: I would like you to put the option in your authors comments
*sigh of relief* Good that's the rules over. Now I think all that's left is for me to say good luck and have fun!!!!
Oh yes and I will hopefully be commenting on each and every entry!!
