Give me something...anything...about Angels.

Feel free to use the picture above or take inspiration from anime/novel/movie characters...so long as they are angels
( you can even use whats his name from "city of angels" if you like )

or just search google for angels and write about one of the pictures that shows up...yeah...that could be fun
...and so on.
I want descriptions as well as stories about them or what you think angels are...do they exist? what is their purpose...if they have one? Are the all necessarily good? are bad angels possible? how do angels see humans? where do they live? what are their lives like? maybe how long they live?
...you get where i'm goin? those are just examples
get creative!!!
Don't go overly religious on me please, I know that for a lot of people angels hold a huge religious significance but thats not what I'm asking for here. These are not about religion but about the beings themselves. Don't get me wrong, you can mention god and religion and whatnot in the poem but I am not religious, I consider myself an Agnostic and so if you go overboard or it sounds like you are preaching at me...chances are you wont win. just a FYI.
-300 and a trophy will go to the winner
-second and third places will get silver and bronze and possibly some points
-honorable mentions may recieve applause
IMPORTANT STUFF ( aka rules...and some suggestions )
-erotica is allowed but be sure to label it correctly
-cursing is allowed but keep it to a minimum
-no StIcKy CaPs!
-no chatspeak
-Prewrites allowed but only ONE per person. you may write only one prewrite but as many fresh writes as you like.
~(suggestion) read and comment on other entries. its only polite
~feel free to comment on my poetry...it wont guarantee a win but it never hurts to get on the hosts bright side
~if you write about a picture you should include the picture...

I have two prewrites but im not sure which one to enter, would you rather "Rebel Angels" or "broken angel"? (which are both self explanatory) ill try to think of a fresh write for you, this contest is really awesome and i think ill take your advice on search 'angel' on google image or something

I like both ideas and so I would suggest you read both the poems you have in mind and consider which one is stronger? which one hits harder with emotion? which one reads more smoothly or flows better? take into account everything that makes up a poem and give me the one you feel is your best one. Thats all I can tell you. Can't wait to read your entries!!
