The 2nd Group Contest for The Starhikers!!!
This is a contest for members of the group The Starhikers ONLY! Entries from non-members will be disqualified and removed from the contest. If you're not on the members list, and want to join this contest, make sure you get invited into the group first.
This time I want to give you seven different options, from a wide range of categories and styles, something for every taste. I hope to get a lot of entries from you guys!!
1: You are a Starhiker. Write me a poem about how you interpet this... use my poems or page to get inspiration if you like.
2: G. K. Chesterton said that "Poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese." Write me a poem about cheese!
3: Create a myth, or a mythological creature. I want you to write me something magical. I will check if the myth exists.
4: I am feeling kind of paranormal at the moment. Write me a scary poem about ghosts, poltergheists, deja vus, spirits, etc.
5: Write a poem about a problem (local or world wide) that causes you trouble, or makes you concerned. Weather? Your health?
6: Christmas is soon upon us. Write a letter to Santa, with your wishes. Have you been naughty or nice? Sugar or spice?
7: Write a poem about you being in your favorite TV-series, i.e. LOST, CSI, NSCI, JAG, or any other series you have seen.
Ok, now for the dreaded rules. I know, nobody likes them, but they have to be there.
1: This is a contest for members of The Starhikers ONLY! (See above.)
2: I want no prewrites, erotica, adult, adult humor, abuse, cutting, suicide, swearing, cursing, profane language, racism, hate, sticky caps, etc. Behave, and all will be good.
3: Put which option you have written on, if it is not clear enough, in the Author's Comment.
4: Put the words "The Starhikers Live Forever!" in the Author's Comment of your poem.
I would be greatful if you comment on any other entries in the contest, and put which you commented on in the Author's Comments aswell...
Here's the prizes! 700 points to the winner, 200 points to the runner up, and 100 points to 2nd runner up... May the best Starhiker win!

Jim, Thank you so much for the newest SILVER trophy that is now sitting on the mantle at my home page. I would also like to congratulate Zonia and Pookiebubu for there wins, but I especially say congratulations to all who entered. This was an awesome contest idea and I wish more of our fellow Starhikers had participated. Well done to all and 3 cheers for the Starhiker himself who took the time to host this fabulous contest.
