Under another name I write stories for Baen Books' series "The Man-Kzin Wars" set in the "Known Space" universe created by Larry Niven ("Ringworld", etc). I want songs of those wars, both by the Kzin and their human opponents. Any of sufficient quality that fit my purposes may see publication.

- Final notes: With two entries, this was not quite the most successful contest I have ever run, and the entry "Legendary" was not really relevant to the subject matter. Also it contained a number of spelling mistakes. "Raspberry's" poem was quite strange but with some merit, so it gets the prize.

Oh good a challenge worth looking at, i'm not sure how musical my songs will be, more battle cries i imagine, I've just finished your latest book so that will help.

The Man-Kzin Wars books are listed on Amazon.com. Most - all but the latest - are available in paperback. There is also an "Encyclopaedia of Known Space" and several other websites devoted to the Kzin.
