Art Inspires Art

This drawing is of me done by AEnigm4 on Deviantart

I want you to study the picture, if you will, and write anything that you get from it.

I know that this has been done a thousand times but images inspire people to write all of the time, and people draw so many different conclusions, emotions and ideas from the same picture.

All I am asking is that youre poem be inspired by the picture for whatever means and can be absolutely about anything you get from it, even if it isnt about the picture at all.

There arent many rules
No chat speak
No silly caps and limited swearing...

    Great Contest!

    Well, this definately works with an idea that I just had about a poem to write. Yippee! Hopefully it shall wake the muse up and get her to writing something that has a tinge of poetic style to it...hehehe. Good luck with the contest, I may be back.

    Hi Nell.....My vision of your picture.....I drew my poem....it in no way reflects anything about you personally..but of the innocense I feel wasted to the life of addictions....and also the lives it consumes....

    the topis is really cool, and different, although i have many times seen picture contests!!! 'art inspires art' is just a great one, and i think you deserve really good poems!! but unfortunately this kind of a pic is not really my choice, so i may not enter, but all the best for the contest! have fun with the poems, and since u have selected the pic, the poems will be of ur choice, so enjoy and hope u enjoy and have no prob in judging fairly!!!!!
