Ok, so it's my birthday coming up (October 27th), and I'm feeling kinda down. Job situation sucks (not my greeter job, of course!) Finances suck, and of course I'm getting older. Ok, so 28 isn't old... but 30 is not far off....
So, that's where you come in. Write me a poem to cheer me up, and the best poem wins. Let me give you a few hints about what I like:
My favorite forms:
limericks
cinquains
centos (with my poetry, of course.
)
sonnets
My favorite subjects:
wolves
snow
dogs
ocean
My favorite colors:
dark green
silver
dark red
You can write your poem in English or Spanish. I promise to read every one and comment. And favorites mean nothing to me when it comes to contests. All that matters is that you write an excellent poem, check your spelling and grammar, and refrain from cursing/erotica.
There's no need to comment on any of my poems. You're sucking up already by entering this contest!
You also don't need to write anything in your author's box.
Simple enough? Ok, then, get writing! Multiple entries are okay! And may the best writer win!
