Three Strikes And You Are Out(BaseballContest)

My dear friend Michael (Arsenic-) and I are having a contest together. Um!! The world series is coming up so we would like poems about baseball. (Well that was his choice.) The next contest we do I get to choose.)   Anything you want to write about baseball.










1. Write what you like about baseball. What you don't like about baseball.



2. Write about your favorite team or player



3. Is your husband/boyfriend  or wife /girlfriend obsessed with it and does he ignore you when baseball is on.



4. Anything humorous about baseball



5. Who you would like to see win the world series



6. Write about you little league experiences, good or bad.






Rules


1. No cursing or chat talk



2. No erotica



3. Prewrites are allowed but  only one per person



4. As many original ones are allowed.



5. Follow the rules or 3 strikes and you are out



6. Have lots of fun!!!



First place 300 points



Second 200 points



Third place 100 points



Honorable mentions 50 points each(4)

    Hrm... I've never gotten really big into baseball as some of my friends are. Maybe I'll talk to them and maybe see if they could write a poem. lol or give me some ideas. Great idea, though, Mom! I hope you get a lot of great entries and such. Good luck with judging to both of you as well.

    Sandy thanks for the honorable mention & the points. I spend more time at little league fields than big league fields,and have had opportunity to contemplate the most lonely place on the face of the earth which is the baseball field in winter. Thanks again

    Thank you both very much for the trophy and prize. I wrote this a few years ago for my dear friend who introduced me to real baseball and has since turned me into quite the fan. It was a fun contest! Thanks again.
