The concept for this contest is simple. All you have to do is base your entry on one of the following quotes, which are all from my own poetry.
Rules
1. No violence, erotica, overt sexuality. Minimal and tasteful cursing, if you must use any, should be employed. Depressive or darker themes are fine, but please make them original.
2. You may enter as many times as you wish. This is because I doubt I'll be flooded with entries for this particular contest.
3. I always read every entry, but I make no promises that I will comment on all. I also reserve the right to close early.
4. I reserve the right to remove any entry which I feel disregarded the rules or was in poor taste.
5. Only enter work which you actually think has merit. Please don't enter the typical, forced rhyme stuff so many people post each day.
6. Please specify which quote you used.

Under flagrant swells
which drown the winter silence
denial strides unerringly--
a minute star,
subdued.

tender wounds heal, willingly.
Aerial, these variances occur
nightly. Saturnine,
meaning cut clean by voracity.

Let's see now, use quotes from your poems, which I hardly ever understand, and write something else.
Hmmmm. Is there anything really simple in there that I might get and be able to use to write something new?
