Okay, so things are kind of tricky for me right now but yet I'm still pretty darn happy so I want happy stuff! Okay?
There are a few options or you can always so something else as long as it's happy.
Option Number 1:
love
Okay, I found the greatest guy and I find myself falling for him over and over again. All the time actually. I want to hear about love. And only good love. I don't want to hear about the love gone wrong. Sorry. You can pretty much go anywhere with this; it can be love of a spouse/mate/boyfriend/girlfriend/whatever or love of a friend, or love of a family member, a pet...whatever you want to do as long as it's happy and good love.
Option Number 2:
Family
Right now, my dad is sick; he's not doing too bad at the moment, but he's not doing too good either. He has liver and kidney failure. So this is where I'm kind of down. With this one, don't write about a family member having health problems. I'm trying to give myself a little break from thinking about that. Write about how silly you and your siblings are; about your favourite time(s) with your family, write about your AP family; I don't care. Write something family oriented that is very postitive.
Option Number 3:
Babies
Okay, I love babies. I always have and I always will. But lately I don't know, I've been thinking a lot about babies and I want some cute, funny, silly, happy, whatever poems about babies; nothing sad though. Please. Just write about your kids when they were babies, about your grandkids, whatever. It's got to be happy and about babies. That's it.
Option Number 4:
Humor
Write anything funny. Just give me a laugh or two. I want to smile a bit more; I just got back from visiting the love of my life and now I'm at home and I'm just a little down about it. I miss him; so write me something that will put that smile back on my face and laughter back in my heart.
Option Number 5:
Me
I'm being selfish, I know, but write me something that is specifically for me. Write me a tribute, a letter, whatever. Just something that you specifically wrote for me; a pick me up a I guess you could call it.
Or if you have any other ideas, feel free to IM me with them and I'll think them over.

Generic Rules (No chat lingo, no sticky caps, no erotica, keep profanity to a minimum, check spelling and grammar, no prewrites)
Make it positive; anything that makes me want to cry for a bad reason (not out of joy or happiness) will be DQ'd and no more entries for you.
You may enter as many times as you would like, but I would prefer you to only write one for each option; not madatory, but prefered.

Well I like the option about love, but I don’t know somehow it seems that doesn’t matter how happy I am with love; I can write anything that it isn’t melancholic, as for the other options they look very fun to… and of course if I can get out of my usual mood then I will must definitely try to come back with an entry…

i wrote three poems about babies last week! havent gotten many comments on them yet though. i thought that they were good. but i guess they are considered prewrites. i don't know too many people on this site but i am glad to know that someone wants up beat and happy poems for a change! let me know what exactly a prewrite rules are. i think i wrote mine last week and think that you will like them. one is called tiny little blessings and the other is called sweet dreams about my two year old. maybe you can still check them out for me even if i can't enter them into your contest! thanks,~~tracy

Well, I would add prewrites, but since I have had everyone else write new ones, I will have to do another one with prewrites allowed from the beginning. Keep an eye out and I'll probably do basically the same contest but with prewrites. Thanks for the comment.
