Hi! My name is Audrey and this is my first contest! I hope that I have a good turn out. Have fun and enjoy!


~Rules~

We all hate the dreaded rules don't we

1. No Sticky Caps (I HaTe StIcKy CaPs)unless you think it does not take away from the poem, then use them as much as you like.
2. Try not to submit more than 6 entries (only submit more if you feel that you want to)
3. I don't care if you comment on my poetry or not.
4. You can post stories.
5. Try to limit yourself on chat slang, I am good with it, but I think it takes away from the poem.
6. Cuss all one want. You could have the word fuck every two words and I wouldn't care!
7. Have fun! If you don't have fun it's not much of a contest, now is it.
8. The only thing that I ask of you is that you try to read some of my poems. You don;t have to but it would be nice.

Again I hope everyone has fun. By the end of the contest I will try to get up some points so that I may give points to my honorable mentions. If I don't have any I am sorry that I could not give you any points. *If you would like to donate points, I would appreciate it.* It might take me a couple of days to judge the contest because I have school and stuff, but I will do my best to judge it as soon as possible.

OH one more thing. *EVEN IF YOU BREAK MY RULES I WILL NOT DISQUALIFY YOU. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE GET DISQUALIFIED.*

*THERE IS NO LIMIT ON PREWRITES EITHER. AND I DON'T CARE HOW MANY TROPHIES YOU HAVE.*

    Wow, you're going to get a lot of entries, just to let you know. You might want to shorten the time of how long the contest is open. Cause really, anything goes with up to 6 prewrites... or actually however many anyone wants. You'll be getting a lot of poems. The more you have, the harder it is to judge. Also, btw, you could make this like a 1 day contest and still get like 50 entries. lol, well, best of luck to judging. I might submit a poem, but probably not just cause there's probably going to be too many entries. lol Good luck to everyone who enters.

    I know you don't know me, but if you want I can help you with the contest. I got shit to do. I know what you're thinking"every one has something to do", but all I have is work, college, and friends. And all of my friends are at high school still, so I don't get to see them until almost 3 anyways. ....... I have no idea why I told you all of that. Man, I must be bored to just be writing what ever like this. Oh well, if you need help just ask. Byez! and good luck with the contest.

    I recently hosted an anything goes contest with a friend and got a total of 321 entries. Took about a month to judge. By the end of it my eyes were bleeding. Good luck and have fun.

    Hey, LADY, close this damn contest already! It's not fair on everyone that's entered it! A few comments up, it said you had more than 380 entries, and that was a few days ago. Get REAL!     Look everyone I'm sorry that's it's taking me a long time to judge. I have had alot on my plate lately. I was sick for a week, then I had to make up all the work for my classes. Tonight I am checking in to Highland Hospital before I commit suicide. I loved all of the poems and I thank everyone for entering.

    Audrey, I am sorry for the comments made by some of our fellow poets as to the closing of the contest. I won't say the name as it is evident. You don't need to apologize, with all these entries it would take a while to judge. I want to thank you for hosting this wonderful contest and my thoughts and prayers are with you for a full recovery from the emotional problems you are having at this time. Congratulations to the winners and other entrants as well for their wonderful work. Audrey, please remember that life is precious. Hold on to it dearly with all you've got. No matter how bad it might seem right now, it will get better. Take all of your inner strength and fight off the feelings you have to end life as you know it.

    THIS IS THE WAY A CONEST SHOULD BE RUN!!!!!

    My Dear, I so much appreciate the HM and the points. I do thank you so very much.

    But I must tell you, I would like you to read a write up I wrote about "Contests - Are Our Entries Truly Being Read?". I have NEVER seen anyone put so much effort into a contest...EVER! You have restored my faith in the contest game here on AP. I have never seen anyone with so much organization, structure and one who acknowledged so many submissions I wish everyone on this site could see what you have done here. You have been the most gracious hostess EVER! You are a rainbow on this site!
