My good friend and AP-brother Albus2 is leaving us! I decided I'd hold this contest, to make the best poem for him, so that when he one day comes by to take a look, he will find tons of poems for him...

I guess I have to give you some options. You could write either...
1) a tribute to Albus2 for his brilliant poetry and stories...
2) a good-bye to Albus2 that he will see how sad you are...
3) or a plea for Albus2 to come back to AllPoetry again...

What is a contest without rules. I'll make it easy this time...
1) Comment on as many of Albus2 poems as you can, and applaud them if you really like them. Make the comments or critiques proper, not just something like "I liked it." Make it heart-felt!
2) Tell me which option you chose, and add in your Autors Comment these words: "I'll miss you, Albus2!"
3) No prewrites or rewrites accepted!
Prizes?
1st price: 300 points and GOLD
2nd price: 200 points and SILVER
3rd price: 100 points and BRONZE
Finding it hard to rhyme Albus2? Try his name, Udit. Good luck! I've been stressing with it myself!

- Rewards: Gold: 300
- Final notes: 1st place: "**Udit, Stay Don't Go!!!**" by xTouched By Angelx gets 300 points!
2nd place: "Udit - Albus2 (Rictameter)" by sunny day gets 200 points!
3rd place: "For Albus2" by Ray Von gets 100 points!
4th place: "Write again, we hope" by grannyeri gets 50 points!
5th place: "Albus 2 Come Back To Us" by mistic moonlite gets 25 points!
Unfortunately there were only these five entries, but they were all good! I asked Udit earlier if he would honor me by helping me find a winner, but he said he would give the Gold trophy to all of you if he could!Entries [2]

He's my AP brother too and it's truly awful that he's leaving the site.I'll definitely enter this contest and most probably,will choose option no. 3....

Jim, Brilliant idea for a contest, I am not surprised the captain thought of it. I will definitely be entering. I don't want him to go, may work in an option 2 & 3 the farewell with a plead to come back. Thank you for doing this, it is a great tribute to a fine young man.

I can't tell too much, but he got in conflict with a moderator, and got so fed up with it that he "signed off". He's still around, but don't add new poems, comments, etc. He's considering deleting his account, but we're trying to convince him to not doing that, but instead come back. Hope to see a poem for him from you, ForeverDreaming. Two days left...

Jim, Let me start by saying thank you for hosting such a great contest to pay tribute to our fellow friend and starhiker.
Second, thank you for the silver trophy that now adorns my home page, I am shocked and honored by this. Last but not least, congratulations to all entrants and thank you for taking the time to write for Udit. We are going to miss his words here at AP.
