I know, I know, you are all probably thinking: " Heck, didn't that girl just make a contest?!" I did and Melpomene and I had a blast with it! I hope to get as much out of this one too.
Why Another Contest (#12)
Myself and most around me have noticed that my poetry follows the same pattern always.( Go read it to find out) I'm always writing angsty dark lengthy stuff hat I am getting sick of, But my poetry is inspired by my emotions and surroundings, which remain stagnant for now until the winds finally change course. I feel, (besides suicidal and depressed) that I am hindering and limiting my writing partly due to lack of inspiration.
"Literature is what it means to be human" Meditate on that for a wile, delve into it, understand it, embrace it....Poetry is literature, ...Poetry is also what it means to be human. With that in mind, you now have some sort of idea of what I'm looking for. Never stray far from that point with this contest and farther writings.
So, why should you care. Cuz you can win points from my lack of inspiration!!
I am hoping that your poetry will not only inspire a sort of "poetic revolution" but rather also a "personal revolution" Something I, and any other desert wanderer may hold on to and that it will not turn to dust. All of my life is tangled up and tangled around me, choking me. I am a verry dark and depressed poet(with meaning) and "deep thinker" that is slipping away and wondering endlessly...
! Is Life Worth It? (inspire me, i don't want negative crap)
! Does it ever get any better that this? Is There Hope??
! Are we totally and completely alone and lost in our own confused mazes?
! Does anybody care?

Sounds interesting.
Well this is indeed interesting and let me shake some cobwebs out and get back into the groove of writing as I have been busy doing some early fall cleaning and taking care of somethings. Which has led to some interesting ideas indeed. -
I'm in a bit of a writing ideal meltdown. If I come up with something that fits your contest I'll be sure to enter. Really good idea for a contest. Good luck with it.
