Magic, Love, Feelings or Fantasy, take your pick...

Welcome to my first contest. Thanks to lencio-sunchild that made this contest possible by donating some points.

Here's what you can win:

Gold: 350 points
Silver: 100 points
Bronze: 50 points

Here's your options:
1) I'm a firm believer in magic. Write something that makes me believe you do too...
2) I'm a sucker for love-poems. Write the best one you've ever written, so it shows...
3) I'm an emotional guy. Make me feel your emotions; happiness, sadness, or even hate...
4) Create a myth, bring a mythological creature you thought of to life, and don't cheat, I'll check it!

Here's the rules:
1) No swearing or adult content allowed! This is a contest for EVERYONE, not just a certain group of poets.
2) Do not use sticky or all caps (allowed in title), Capitalize first letter in sentences, and please use proper punctuation for easier reading.
3) Comment on one of lencio-sunchild's poems, and one of mine. Write in Authors Comment which poems you commented on. I'm open for bribery...
4) Add in Authors Comment which of the contest options you write on, just for me to keep track of which options you people use...
5) Rhyming and rythm is a must, but how you do it is up to you. If you break the rythm or make a bad rhyme, I will probably discard it...
6) This is more a guideline than a rule. I prefer short stanzas, four to six lines maybe, but you may write a poem as long as you want...
7) Prewrites are allowed, but original works get bonus points, which can tip the scale in a tie-off situation. One poem per poet!
8) Add the words FOLLOW THE WHITE RABBIT to the Authors Comments, so I know you've read these rules!

    Hello starhiker,

This is a brilliant idea for a contest. Magic and fantasy are some of the best subjects to write a poem on. This brings out a lot of creativity from the writers, and calls for a lot of imagination. I am sure you are gonna have a lot of fun. All the best to your contest!!!

    Love and light,
    Lencio

The only creature I've created is a Forest Guardian, and that's just my version of the real thing. I might have to think about this one. I don't have many fantastic (as in fantasy-like) poems, or ones I consider emotional. Good luck with your contest, but you probably don't care whether I enter or not.

Forgotten One, your story about the Forest Guardian seems to be quite good, and good enough to enter the contest. I have not time to read through it now, but feel free to enter it in. I noticed you have it in another contest at the moment, but this is being judged at current time, so since you have til September 1st, just enter this contest when the verdict is in at the "Eh..."-contest.

I will, thank you. I will try to remember. Write it down or something. That is how my problems are created and solved.

You deserved the Gold, Manoj, because your poem blew me away. Excellent rhyming with unusual words, good flow, and good stanzas. You'll win more awards for sure!

Hi, Daughter of Cain. Your poem is good, but because you forgot to follow the rules, you got a minus. Check them again if you're uncertain what I mean. Better luck next time.

Thank you, Joyce, too bad you didn't win. Your poem was good, but unfortunately only got 5th place. Nice of you to congratulate the winners, though!
