Ok so heres the deal, When I write, I'm usualy listening to music, not only that but sometimes my peices are inspired by music.
What I want you to do is to write about a song that inspires you, a song you listen to more then anyone else. A song that makes you want to dance, or a song that makes you want to cry, a song that reminds you of a lost one, a song that is the only thing on this planet that makes you smile.
ONE song, one entry. This means that you have to choose your favorite song, the one and only song on the planet that speaks to you above all else. So think carefully. Go run and go through you're CD collection if you want... I'll wait here while you do....

Ok you got it? Alright, now you go write me a poem about it, and I want a poem, not a short story. It can be any kind of poem, it can have one line if it must... course that might be kind of silly as Idk how you're gonna make me understand what this song does to you with only one line... but hey go for it.
2 rules!
1. Put the song and who sang it in your Authors comments, that way if I havent heard it I can go listen to it and know what you're talkin bout with the poem.
2. SMILE DAMNIT!

Btw, twood be nice of you to comment on other peoples as well as my poems, but then it would also be nice for you to go and give a homeless person all your cash assets... I dont expect you to either of those things, and you will not be penalized for not commenting. Also, commenting on my poems is not gonna earn you brownie points, so if thats why your doing it... Dont bother.
1st place: 300 points and a very pretty picture of a gold trophy
2nd place: 150 points and another lovely picture of a trophy, this one silver (Silver goes with everything, I swear its the best metal :-P)
3rd place: 100 points and a pretty picture of a trophy... this one kinda brownish, I think they call it bronze, anyway its still very pretty
Also, if I have additional points I will most likely feel guilty about who didnt win and there will be as many honorable mentions as I can possibly cram into the page, as well as spending whats left of my points...
So go and write, make it whatever you want, erotic, cussing, cutting if you so desire, not my cup o' tea but oh well. Have fun. and enjoy yourselves.
