Okay, this is my second contest. The first one went... seemingly well, now I want this one to be better.
Now, this is what I want. I'm going to have twins around end of April, beginning of May. What I want you all to do is write a short story (I will also allow poems) about:
1) telling you boyfriend/getting told by your girlfriend that you are/ she is pregnant.
2) Write a story or poem about the first day with your new born child and what it's like to be with him/her.
3) write a children's story or poem.
~Now for the Rules~
1) Please No StIcKy CaPs
2) No Erotica please
3) You can swear, just don't go over board. Don't have every other word be f*ck or sh*t
4) Please use spell check... that's what it's there for. I'll tell you if I see a few mistakes in your entry when I read and to fix it.
5) You can put in as many entries as you want, but for every 2 pre-writes you enter, write a new one.
6) HAVE FUN!
~It's not a requirement, but it would be nice if people looked at either my poetry or others in the contest.
PRIZES
1st will get a beautiful golden trophy and 300 points
2nd will get a marvelous silver trophy and points will be determined at the end.
3rd will get a nice bronze trophy and points will be determined at the end.
There may be a fourth and fifth and a few honorable mentions, but I'm not sure.

- Final notes: Well, I had my boyfriend help me with this (because they are his twins too) and we thought that sandygram's Mother's Love was the best. This was another hard one because I had troublewith it... that's another reason I turned to him.
So, Here's the outcome.
1st: Mother's Love by sandygram (300 pts)
2nd: How Can I tell you this by Praise his name (100 pts)

okay i'm totally condfused.. I found out i'm pregnant last week. So i'm 6 weeks and due April 14th. If you're due at the end of april it makes you only 4 weeks. Have you already had an ultrasound? Congradulations on twins, you are probably sooo excited. I hope everything goes well for you and your babies

I want to enter a poem that I just wrote about my daughter.....but your thing will only allow me to put on prewritten stories? Is there a way that you could fix tha maybe?

thank you... we think im farther... around 6 weeks, though I have been starting to show early... that's y we think its twins. I have no clue when we are going to get an ultrasound. When I work up the courage to tell my mom.
