Write a Happy love poem from one of these lines
I want you to choose a line and write a love poem
you can use more than one line if you need to.
But please make them happy.
Highlight the line you use so I won't have to hunt for it
if you are not a paying member you can place an asteric
at the beginning and end of the line.
Now for the lines.
1. Overpowering my senses with your smile;
2. I gave you my heart it was given with love
3. I yearn to be with you to stand by your side
4. I have known true happiness like no other
5. Ecstasy awaits us just a kiss away
6. Love can't be denied when two souls love so deep
7. you softly whisper my name in your dreams;
8. You came into my life when I needed you most
9. I have found my true soul mate in this life
10. To know the thrill of your kiss is sheer bliss
11. Your illustrious eyes gleam only for me
12. once it's said it can't be reversed.
13. heaven is when I see the love in your eyes
14. you are the one that makes my heart soar
15. I have to close the door to my heart and lock it
16. When I’m wrapped in his/her arms it’s where I belong,
17. when you looked into my eyes then I knew
18. Until you came along love was lost to me
19. Can you feel my heart reach out to you?
20. How could the love we feel for each other be wrong?
Now for the rules.
1. No angst, cutting, suicide, chat talk, Or tHiS
2. Check your SPELLING proper English please
3. NO PREWRITES
4. Don't IM or leave a nasty comment about the rules
the rules are mine to choose, no one elses.
5. I won't ask you to comment on other contestants
but it would be nice if you could.
6. I will comment on ALL entries.
7. Contest will close after 30 entries.
8. RHYMING, FREEFORM OR ACROSTICS ONLY.
9. If you have dark backgrounds, the writing MUST be readable
if I can't read it, I won't judge it.
10. 2 entries per poet.
11. No more than 50 lines= that's the limit.
That's all for now, if I think of any others I will add them
1st: GOLD TROPHY + 500 points
2nd: SILVER TROPHY + 200 points
2rd: BRONZE TROPHY + 100 points
There will also be Honourable mentions.

They were all wonderful entries.
The Majority of Poets read my rules to

There were some who didn't.
this made it very hard to find the words and it took a lot of my time searching through each one.
Two Poems I had to remove as they did not have any of the lines mentioned, and there was one I wasn't sure if the line was actully in the poem, they were notified to rectify it but didn't comply. Rules are there for a reason
those who know me know that I run a fair contest, it's not
always the best written poem that wins, but the ones that touch my heart.
