Another Update: Ok, contest doors closed! Judging will go as such:
1: re-read all your entries and do some last minute commenting
2: eliminating if any of you didnt play by the rules (except you all did)
3. Judging the poetry
And I've decided, for APFamily, there is no way, no way atall that i can chose on 5 of you out of the 17 ::gasp:: of you that entered. You are all such awesome friends and talented poets...yep, 'm making it more like 8 of you chosen. Sound good?

I would enter this but I dont think I have character, I clicked the link because it interested me so I will repromote this piece. And your having people answer the question "why do you wake up everyday?" But honestly do they have much of a choice? So its not really why they are getting up, but why they allow themselves to fall asleep knowing there is a chance they could wake up. I'm ranting, but I figured I should comment. I hope this works out for you, AP families seem somewhat amusing.

I didn't know that this was a contest, so I am sorry that I am wasting your points for featured...but I think you have a great idea in making this contest! I would think a simple thing to do is visit home pages read what’s there and decide on the person whose writings are posted. You need not work at it to decide what is in the persons mind heart and soul...its all there for you to experience.... Words written with emotion tell a persons soul. Actually AP family’s do not recognize the talents of others. For it becomes a vote for me ill vote for you in contest. Applause is given to each other and not to people deserving...I have mixed views on such actions. It becomes bias without intention. Shamefully I’ve seen it here. I just love everyone and Ill be anyone’s friend who wants me to be…this is what I live by…

What a wonderful Idea. I often times wander this site alone looking for direction. Someone who understands my need to write and the meaning behind my words. I'm truly intrigued by this. But I find myself interested in who YOU are before I become your relative.. you never know maybe we won't mesh. but the qualities your looking for seem appropriate and definetly apply to me...
