i believe i would ask jesus to speak in a sense that is relevent of today i read a great book called ... 'god on a harley' a brilliant sotry of what todays commandments would be, individual as the person , being what they , themselves need to bring hapiness ot their life ... id suggest it to anyone

whata beautiful idea for a contest Sandy...i am not a beliver and i am not a anon believer i am simply searching for my write path..i am a pagan but am open to all religions and would love to have 5 minutes with Jesus to ask a few questions etc...but i know he would want me to search for my own ansers aswell

Hi there fern, How are you. I remember when my dear friend Charles (Onfire4Jesus) was helping you. a few months ago.You can have 5 minutes with God too. They are one in the same. I do hope you enter. Charles is my AP son and isn't on much. My other Ap son is Josh-13. He can explain things to you if you are still interested in learning more. He bible studies me. and I learn so much from him. Hello Sandy...thank you for your help. I am not looking to become a "christian" as such. I do indeed belive in God and Jesus....and i must say i do love them....what jesus did was amazing....BUT in my opinion Jesus did what he had to to enable EVERYONE to go to heaven.....exept murderers etc...he didnt only do it for the people who follow him...i interpret his words that said something liek "you can get to god through me" i interpret them to mean he is doing this for us all....i am not a christian but i sincerly belive i can love God and Jesus and not have to be labelled as something....true followers of Christ Continue his beautiful work of helping people right? NO ONE has the right to say someone will go to hell is they choose not to belive in him....if you look at old records dating back centuries there are ambiguous interpretations....I think your passion is beautiful Sandy...
But i think i can love the Lord and Jesus and not have to go to church or try to get people to be christians....Jesus belived that love for him and the lord resides within...not in building..

I would ask him for more minutes to talk to him. what can you fit into just five minutes? well, if you think about it, alot , right? creative and contemplative idea for a contest to really get the christians out there on AP thinking. ersonally, i do not plan on entering, but i just wanted to say i thought this was a good idea and i'm curious to see what kind of entries you get. take care and happy judging,

This contest idea was very intriguing to me!
I must admit... I was trying to think of a more clear context to your questions- as in, would this five minutes be in Heaven, or here on earth? (-since He was here once, but is now in Heaven, not able to be with us as yet). I had to answer this for myself before I could write- I chose the idea that He came to spend five minutes on earth here with me.
But even then, I felt very speechless at the idea! God has taught me so much just this summer, of His love for me... how strong it is. I hope my poem reflects that a little bit. -
I was thinking about entering this contest, then I read some of the entries and figured, I should better skip it. This is a great idea for a contest, I like it a lot.

Thank you Sandy for choosing my poem for 3rd place and the points. Ironically, I saw the contest at the last moment and barely met the deadline LOL I stopped 3/4 of the way through and nearly gave up. I was too tired and my creativity wasn't at its best, but something compelled me to finish. I'm glad I did LOL
This was a wonderful idea for a contest and each poem very inspirational. I gained more than a trophy and points.
