This is my first contest and I've been feeling a little depressed and sad at the moment. I want you to put your best poems into this. Here are your options.
1st prize, 300 points
2nd prize, 50 points
3rd prize, 35 points
4th prize, 20 points
5th prize, 10 points
Honorable mentions
1)Write about how you want to make someone pay for your pain and misery. Be descriptive and show emotion.
2)Write about cutting and how you just want to end your life. Do a good job and show image in this. Tell me how you want to die. Show it exquisitely, but not that much blood and gore. Pretty much just tell me what's on your mind. Stay within policy rules or I will disqualify you.
3)Tell me about a little girl and how she is abused by a family member or family friend. Show how she still trusts this person even after what they did to her. Have it in the little girl's point of view.
4)Talk about a teenager/yourself who has gone through a tough time (friend dying, abusive father, just plain unlucky) and wants to die but is afraid to actually commit.
5)Take a title of a song or a poem you have read (just make sure you say whose it is and if you have gotten permission) and write about it. Describe what the title means to you and how it relates to your life.

- Final notes: I had a hard time judging and had a friend help me (losing all sanity) and we came up with 1st through 5th and two honorable mentions.
