hmmm I am really not sure what contest of mine this is... so let's just mosey on along!
background: in 10 days I am going on holidays for 2 weeks. There are a couple upsides and downsides to this and you might understand them when you read the below options.
Choices:
a.)Write a poem or story about having to leave someone behind when you go and do something.
b.)Write a poem about missing a spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend.
c.)Write about the ocean.
d.)Write about visiting new places and seeing new things.
e.)Write about taking a chance on something you thought you never would before.
f.)write about an inspiration you have that helps you write.
Yes this is interesting. But I really do hope lots of people enter! This is really going to have to be a shorter contest so enter while you can. Because I have judge it before I leave July 31st.
Rules:
1.)Write from your heart.
2.)Write "I used to have an open mind, but my brains kept falling out" in your author comments. teehee my favorite quote
3.)any experience you write about can be fictional or real, but I really honestly say "Why not try and dig down deep to your own dark caverns and draw up some inspiration."
4.)I'm not big on worrying about spell check but it's nice to have it used!
5.)You can enter all you want. I'm not worried about that.
6.)All I ask is you do yourself a favor and write from your heart. Make me feel your poem. (It's really great if I can feel emotions through the words)
Winning:
FIRST: 300 big ones and sup[e]rb gold trophy!
SECOND: A nice silver trophy and a bookmarked poem and an applause.
THIRD: a bronze trophy and an applause!

Hey there, I was just going through my entries for your contest, and I discovered that you only read one out of the three I entered. And by reading, I mean viewing, not commenting. As a gold member, I can see who looks at my work and when. I am appreciative of the comment on 'Summer Fling', but I was sad that you did not look at 'Six Days' or 'Solitary Irish Rose'. Ah well, maybe next time, eh?
