I love the ocean too. I have a few writes already but I prefer to write new pieces for contests when I can. I'll see what I can come up with. Best of luck judging the contest.

I have one or two poems about the ocean as well, but I think I can do better! This is a wonderful concept and something so powerful and also yet so gentle...the ocean. I can see the ocean from my bedroom and I breathe it everyday....maybe she will smile on me to write something worthwhile!! Best wishes!

I as well am a water baby as my mother puts it. I love the beach. I could spend my entire life on a beach. At one point in time all I ever wanted was a beach house to close to the ocean. I will try to see what I might be able to come up with for you lovely contest. I have traveled to many beaches but I am closest to my home state of california beaches!

Ooh this is going to be great. I have a poem about the Ocean and I think I am going to enter it Unfortunately I live just about as far from an ocean as you can get, so I wrote the poem to try and take me away from the cold here and beack the the enchanting waters of the ocean

Helen, if I enter a prewrite may I also enter a second piece that is fresh? I read the rules, and I don't believe that I read of that rule.. so, let me know. Either way, I think I'll enter.
