I saw a contest for love letters,
I thought it was such a good idea I've decided to
run one.
The rules
1. No Prewrites....I want fresh ones in letter or poem form
2. Happy emotional written from the heart ones.
3. It MUST have a HEADING example My dearest Darling..etc etc
4. it MUST have an ENDING example with love from..etc etc
5. No Dark ones, cutting, suicidal, no same sex, no erotica
6. No sTiCkY caPs, no chat talk
7. if you have dark backgrounds, I MUST be able to read it without
highlighting it, I will warn you ONCE to change it, or you get DQ'D
8. Good English is a MUST, double check for any errors.
9. it can be Rhyming, Freeverse, even an Acrostic, as long as you
make it like a letter.
10. I would like you to read at least two other entrants poem and place
which ones in Author Box..it's nice to get comments from other contestants.It is only a suggestion out of courtesy to others, you won't be DQ'D if you don't, I'm not that mean.
11. If any of my friends enter, they will be judged on their poems,
not because they're friends of mine, so they have to work extra hard.
I will comment on every entry I've seen too many contests where the
contest runner hasn't taken the time to comment, if you're running a
contest it's a courtesy you must pay the contestants.
1st 400 points
2nd 200 points
3rd 100 points
There will be honourable mentions
Contest is set to close after 30 entries
OK, that's it, so get writing and enjoy yourself.

As with my other Contests, I choose the one that touch my heart.
The Three I chose really tore at my heartstrings, if I didn't choose you
please don't think it's because your poem isn't good enough, as it is.

You know, these contests were SOOO much easier when I was actually in love. 
I think I'll sit this one out. But lovely idea for a contest (even if it's been done before, it never gets old!!) and good luck to everyone who enters!

Would you DQ us if we put the poems we read up there later because currently there are no poems to read, and you demanded that we read at least two other than ours, saying this three people have to enter at the same time, otherwise there is a problem.

No problem my sweet, if there's none there you won't be DQ'D you just come back before the contest closes and comment, it's only a suggestion as it's nice to have your work commented on, I've gone into contests and I have commented on every entry, some thanked me by IM or their poem, but no one commented on mine. But I don't let it worry me, it's up to the individual, so, no probs

I love this contest... I have to come up with something... My Beloved One lives 3000 away... and all we have aside from phone and internet... to have something more real is letter.. so

What a fantastic contest this was. I m sorry that i am to late to enter this. But i will write something as soon as possible for it. I had it a bit with the contest here arround seen to many that the host dont even read it. You can see those things while your gold member and we all been that for a week a while ago. But the subject would and is a great execise to improve my English.
