Ok. Here is a contest that is suitable for pretty much everyone. Me and my partener Mina want this to be a really good contest so ,here goes .
Right We have 10 options for you
1. Write a poem about nature
2. Write about a disney movie (sleeping beauty, The little mermaid , the Lion king etc.) Any of the cartoon films by disney is acceptable
3. Write about egyptian/roman/greek gods or godesses
4. Write about one of the main elements (fire, water, wind, earth)
5. Write an emotional poem
6. Write about fantasy (Eg. Dragons, phoenix or any other fantasy creature
7. Write what you see within a child. The emotions of a child or the emotions they make you feel.
8. Write a lyric. I don't see many in contests so I thought this would be a good option
9. Write a humour poem. Make us laugh!!
10. Write about one of your pets
Ok now for the part we all hate...... the rules
1.No sticky caps- It's annoying and makes the poem harder to read
2. No swearing- There is no need
3. No erotica- again there is no need
4. Put your option number in the authours comments. We will be checking this
5. pre-writes are now allow but you can only enter TWO alright and the original ones you
can enter as many as you like
6. Have fun
You don't have to comment on other peoples work, however it will be appreciated. Me and mina (Silver Serenity) would appreciate it if you commented on our work too. If you do not follow the rules you will be given a warning. If the warning is ignored then you will be removed from the contest.
Both me and Mina will be commenting on all entries in the contest
Ok prizes
1st- 300 points and a wonderlully shiney gold trophy
2nd- A nice shiney silver trophy
3rd- a bronze trophy with a little shine here and there
