Im not going to bore anyone though. If everyone has been reading my poetry, you'll know that Ive been going through a hard time moving on from my ex and hope that the poetry that will be entered here will help me throughout one of the hardest times in my life...and I'm only 19...
Imagine what mid-life crisis will be for me!!!!
This is what I want and Im not a picky person by the way-
1. A poem of how getting over love was hard but everything in the end was okay.
2. Getting over someone or being in the process.
3. How preserving your self respect helped your in the end.

This sounds like a great contest that I would like to read and well if the others saw something important in you then you keep plugging away because dear you are worth the effort. And hey I have a mentor that put up with a lot of my crap too. So I understand that. -
First of all I'm glad to hear that although you were contemplating suicide, you were talked out of it. We just had a suicide at our school, and I can't express just how hard it hit the entire school, even those who weren't close to him, so I'm sure there are a lot of people glad that you decided against it.
Anyway, I like the idea of this contest...it might actually help me a little to write for it, so I might come back later this weekend and enter
