Finally time to start my own contest!
Now its a very simple contest so I am expecting good entries.
I want you to write about your 'so-called' friends.
Let me explain a bit.
These are the people who tag along with you as long as they need you,then 'BOOM' when its their turn to help you out,they walk out on you.
You could try to turn this into humor if you are a light hearted person and don't take things too seriously in life,or you can take out all your angst against the person who did this to you.
For the rules (i know even i don't like 'em but some peepz just don't know how to control their 'humorous' side)
Profanity is allowed but keep it to a minimum,i don't want you swear down the whole poem
Max 3 entries per poet
No prewrites allowed,I like fresh ones!
No sticky caps or chat lingo
I don't encourage haiku or cinquains cause it doesn't serve the purpose of the subject (they'll be too short)
Please use SPELL CHECK!
Stick to the rules and you just might not get disqualified
Prize
1st place - 300 pts
2nd place - 150 pts
3rd place - 75 pts

This is an awesome idea! If I wasn't so mad about it I'd write all about how my so called best friend is now having a baby with my brother. But that's not nice

I am sure you will get a fair amount of entries for this....as there are many so called friends that betray you. Fortunately I can say that it has been a very long time that something like that has happened to me...as a matter of fact it has been so long ago i do not even really remember it .
