Due to our health problems and $$ money wise Truembrace (Kim) and I want desperately to go on a vacation, so..and this is where you our fine AP Members come in..we want you to take us on a vacation, pack our suitcases for us, and let us imagine we are there but............
Kim and I have picked out 5 places each we have always wanted to go to so you have to write about either one of her 5 places or mine
Truembraces( Kim's choice's are as follows)
Rome.... Brazil....New Zeland....Sydney Australia....and Ireland
Blushfulmoon...mine are....
Hawaii.... Africa....Egypt....Alaska....and Greece
Choose one of the 5 places either from her choice's or mine, tell us the site you are going to take us too...take us on a virtual tour of the souvenir shops, the restaurants and if you want what you order to eat even
what sites are you going to see..include some history with it as well
Sounds easy right?????? And it could even be fun for yourself as well if you are in the same situation we are in....
Now for the rules....
1. Gold and Silver members (this is a must) upload a picture and background of the place you are taking us on vacation...remember we want to see this place...we can't travel there but we can look at the picture you upload,if you don't and are a Gold or Silver member it will be disqualified...sorry be we do want to see where we are on vacation at even if it is just a picture we want to look and ohhhh and ahhhh at it LOL...
2.No sTicKy CaPs....automatic disqualification....
3.There can be passion and romance in the vacation but please keep it clean and tasteful.
4.Please use Spellcheck...
5. It can rhyme or be free verse.. but no haiku cinquains etc...nothing wrong with these forms but it just doesn't suit this contest
6.Comment on at least one persons poem in the contest and put whose poem you commented on..it is just common courtesy
7.If you want to read our poetry you are more than welcome too but it's not a requirement
8. Please put in the author comments box

What a great idea for a contest!!! The one most special place I've been and would love to return to is Egypt. It's a wonderful place to visit And if I could have figured out a way to support myself there, I would have stayed ...really!!! Let me see what I can come up with.

It's a dreary day here today - I'm thinking the Hawaii poem is a good place for me to start to get away from this damp cool rainy season.
Great rules and criteria in general. Thanks for putting your all into this and posting it under your name. I don't think I could have made this nearly as pretty.

I used to chat with a guy quite a while back that was originally from NY and had moved with his co. to Belgium. He absolutely loved it. I had thought of having that in my list, but I'm not sure why I didn't. Maybe I didn't want to keep seeing that list and thinking of how much I'm craving chocolate. Even though I'm a diabetic, there is a company in Belgium that makes a fantastic chocolate that I can have (shame it still has all the fat grams though. lol)

Hi Susan, Sorry--I didn't realize this was a contest, or I wouldn't have used your points; I don't enter the contests. I will read tell you that if it was me taking you I would take you to Rio-de Janerio. (I am not sure it that is spelled right.)Or, I would take you to Australia; those are two places that I have always wanted to see myself. I think that a vacation to either of them would be wonderful. In Australia you could meet Joan and Von and IAmFromAbove. If you wanted to go to Brazil Brida/Mariza would happily meet you there and show you around; you know that is where she is from originally. I will now get out of here. Again, I am sorry about your points.

Hey this is a great idea for a poem. On the list the 2 places I'd like to visit are Rome and Australia. But I've never even been out of this country as it is, but someday I do hope to visit other countries.
