Your Unfinished Pieces

Here's your chance to get some much needed help on your unfinished poems, or those YOU feel are unfinished.  I know you can spend points to have your poetry featured or shamelessly promoted, but here's an opportunity where you don't have to spend any points!  And I promise you will get at least one read (from me) if not more from the other entrants in this contest.

Because these are your unfinished poems, there is no preset topic or format.  As such, I'm also not limiting what you can write about.  God-Praising, Cursing, Erotica, and Self-Injuring are all acceptable, but just realize that not everyone in this contest may want to read what you have written if you go to the extreme in any area.  

Now, I must ask that you follow the rules below.

1.  Submit a poem that has ten or less comments on it as of today, May 18, 2005.  I'm trusting that you won't delete comments in order to make a piece eligible, but ultimately, you'll have to live with the guilt of knowing you cheated!  

2.  Read and Comment on at least one other entry in this contest.  Tell me which poem you read in your Author Box.

3.  Read and Comment on at least one poem from my favorites.  Hey, I'm running the contest, so why not promote my friends?  Their links are below.  Again, tell me which poem you read in your Author Box.

    Thank you to everyone who entered. You certainly made my job difficult. Unfortunately, there were a few poems I could not consider as the poets did not follow all the rules to comment on both an entrant's piece and one of my favorite's pieces. But all of you have shown that you have talent, and you are not afraid to show those works that you believe are not just right yet. Good luck as you continue writing and perfecting your works of art!

    this is a great idea, I'll be reading along with the entries and even throw one in the ring
    Little note, you might want to change the font color on your links cause they don't show up at all especially when you want people to click on your favorites. Best of luck, I do hope lots of people enter

    What a wondermous contest! I am so glad to see a place for people to place these, and though I am not entering I am going to hopefully help out by reading what is posted...I have so many unfinshed ones but they have been commented on...wish you well

    I only had three poems, so rather than submit a pre-write I wrote a new one for this contest. Obviously, it has ten or less comments -- lol -- I hope that's OK. This is a GREAT contest!
