This is a cute contest idea! Seriously. I might have to consider doing something like this myself
I wouldn't mind entering, but I've always disliked the rules that require me to read and comment on the works of the contest holder. I have to say, I particularly like that you admitted you would chose places based on emotion and not quality. I'm discouraged by contests that do not state this, yet chose poorly written poetry. lol. I'm a stickler for things like that. Good luck with your contest and I hope you make a few new friends out of it!

I used to feel that way then I thought, we are supposed to make four comments for each piece we write anyway... So two to contest runner or entrants isn't much to ask when you stand to gain 300 points or more. Actually, probably all four should go to contest runner and entrants. However, probably like you, I am bogged down with favorites that I don't want to let down either. I think all contests are based on emotional and personal choice. I have seen poems win that only won because they followed rules. I have seen contest runners be quite rude about rules must be followed then winner didn't follow any. It is an imperfect world and we all make the best of it as we can being just as imperfect.
Oh well, I agree this is an EXCELLENT contest and I hope lots of poets enter. A nice start for first day with four entries.

Hey i cant get those poems up could you send me the links so i can read them so I can comment on them and after I do that I will then figure out what I am going to enter into this contest although I am not exactly sure what it is you are looking for in this but hey i will figure it out If I can keep my connection to the net for more then a couple of second i will get this done!
