Do you truly know who the one you love is? I want you to describe what they are like as if you were feeling every part of them with your fingers, tracing the lips, nose, ears, as if you were blind. I am blind as to what your "love" looks like, and you are blind as well. That's the scoop.

1. No erotica, or death, dark, angst etc. (you get the point)
2. No bashing, I hate that, and it's nasty business
3. Cussing is allowed, but keep it minimal, don't go bananas people
4. Good news, you *don't*, let me repeat, *do not* have to comment on anyone's poem, it will not affect the judging, although I'm sure other authors would appreciate it, but it isn't required.
And above all have fun, dream about "him" or "her" and never forget who and what they mean to you.

This is a very good idea! It's an interesting and original challenge. I'd like to enter, but I doubt I could do it. Plus it would make obvious things that are best kept secret for now.

Okay, Im sorry, but I just have to say this. You said this contest is about describing your love as though you're blind. Skanika, ObsidianButterfly, and I are the only ones who used descriptions as though we were blind. Everyobe else used color and such, which you would never see if you were blind. Sorry, but that was the idea of the contest. Those other three were fantastcic poems, yes. They were beautiful with lots of imagery, yes, but they did not follow the main idea of the contest! Sorry, jus wanted to tel you.
