Emotions, thoughts, feelings, what makes you do the things you do, that kind of stuff. Pining your emotions to your shirt, for all to see what you feel, that's the good stuff. If it weren't for writing, in our case, we might explode with all these bottled up emotions. So why blow up, when you can write about it and feel better?
Here's for the rules, those nasty little monsters:
1. I want depth, good stuff, as the title says, something with feeling
2. Keep the cussing minimal, I don't mind a little, but don't go hog wild.
3. I know this is supposed to be how you feel, but let's not do any bashing, it's nasty business, and I definitely don't go for it.
4. Pre-writes are aloud this time, because I like submitting them myself so I know how you feel when you have a really good poem that's a pre-write. But I will tell you now, I like the stuff written fresh, hot off the press.
5. Good news, I hate it when people make you comment on other peoples poems, so no one has to comment on someones poem and put it in your comments.
Basically, I want everyone to have fun!
1st: 300 pts.
2nd: 50 pts.
3rd: 20 points
Honorable mentions: 7 pts. each
