True Love

As the title says I want you to write me a poem that displays pure, true love. You can do it any way you want. Rhyme, no rhyme, whatever. Just make sure it is TRUE LOVE. I don't want lust or erotica. I want true, unconditional, undying love.

Rules:

No Swearing
No Erotica
No Sticky Caps
No Full Capitalization
Your poem has to be true to life, if it is labeled Love as well as Personal it will get the most attention
Anyone can enter... I don't care if you are 12 or if you are 85 if think you have experienced true love, give this a go.
Internet love poems are acceptable as well if you have found true love over the internet.
Prewrites are allowed.

Up to two (2) entries per person allowed. One Prewrite and one new one

Have fun and good luck to all my entrants...

This contest will be for 450 points (by accident I put 350, IGNORE THAT)

Second and third will get some points as well as I am feeling generous but I cannot give you a number right at this moment

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on March 26, 2005
  • Rewards: Gold: 350
  • Final notes:
Okay I ended this early because there were SO many entries.
A few of what I read here did not follow the rules. There were a few lust poems and a few heartbreak poems, to those people, I assume you did not read the rules OR you're too young to understand true love, probably the latter, so I won't penalize anyone

I decided there will be some honorable mentions since it took me a long time to choose between the top 7 entries that I felt deserved something.

Oh yeah, and 2nd and 3rd get points
    2nd will be 50 points
    3rd will be 25 points

    1st goes to A Wife's Poem by kissing-eris
2nd goes to Soulmate (A Series of Cinquain) by Leander
3rd goes to Heartsong by Rous

    Honorable Mentions:

Souls Sacrificed On The Back of Paradise by Glory of Sonne
Walking In The Moonlught With You by Poetic-Soldier
    Through Your Eyes by after-dark

It's listed in my final notes. kissing-eris won gold and Rous won bronze. I wonder why they took their pieces out of the contest after getting a trophy... ?
