For this contest, I have two options for you....one is humor and one is more serious.
For the serious one, I want you to write a poem inspired by the beautiful works of Jerry Uelsmann. Who is that, you say?? A great artist.

I would love to enter this contest, but i feel that this mans work is pure poetry in itself, and i don't think that if i'm honest with myself that i can do justice to any of the pictures. Good contest though, and happy judging!

This does sound like a great contest and unfortunately I saw it too late. I am a bit tired right now to go surfing through webpages . However I wish you lots of great entries and fun with the contest....and who knows , a cup of coffee , and I might still change my mind ....

I don't have time to enter your contest (and I doubt I would win against a poem called "I Sold Your Dog To A Chinese Restaurant"
) but I wanted to thank you for the link to Jerry Uelsmann's website. I recognized a lot of his work, but I had never known who did it. I also looked at his wife's site, whose art is also amazing and I had never heard of her.
So thanks for adding some substance to my life

Well I want to thank so very much for this trophy I’m very thrill and very exited, this poem was more than just another writing to me, since I got to know this amazing photographer as Jerry Uelsmann is, and for that I thank you a lot... well I read the winner entries and they indeed deserve as well to be winners… I hope to be able to get in your future contests or maybe you can get into mine when I decide to have one
