I'm sure many of you know my sister and I, and that will come in handy with this contest. Here is some background information that you need to know, in case you don't know either of us.
Sara Dawn(haikumonkgirl) is my sister Sara, and she had a friend named Vicki who died a year and a half ago in a car accident. On Wed. March 9th it would be her 19th birthday. Vicki was Sara's best friend, they did everything together, including being eachothers hope, and strength when the other was down. Vicki died in a car accident, and in May she would've graduated high school. This May I'm going to see Sara and her friends graduate, and meet everyone, but Vicki. I feel as if I know her, and I know she's safe and with my friend/angel Jessie.

My friend Amanda was also murdered on this day. March9th, 2003. This day is very hard. It will be 2years on this day. Its still a tragic memory, and I just want to remember her on this day.

when i readed it ,and i started to cry cause i know how your sister and you feel cause five year a go i loss my best friend sheridan ... we would do everything to together. It took me a while for me to belive that she really is dead and she not commming back she gone. I need to find away to let her go so i got a pice of paper worte a poem call losing a best friend. one year after her death my godsister was diagnosed white leukemia and die four mouth after... it was reall good and i feel your pain love queen

What a lovely contest.. I am so sorry for your loss as well as your sister's loss... Death is often hard to understand. And I hope that God will see you through all of the pain you are feeling.. This contest is a wonderful tribute to your lost friends... I'll look forward to entering something....

Its been a long hard day today. I walked through school, and no one even remembered. Sad that I have to tell people that claimed to be her "friend" and to have "loved" her. She was missed today though, I will tell you, she was missed a lot. Thank you hun

I lost my dad four years ago an it still hurts, I wish there were words to express the feeling that we go through after the death of a loved one but all we can do is write down poor imitations of the powerful emotions that take us

this is quite an amazing feat that you are accomplishing here my friend... i too know the pain of losing your close friend and loved ones. i had two friends of mine pass since christmas eve... one (Paul Dennem) committed suicide on christmas eve and the other (Dominik Bonano) died a few days after a horrific car accident that he was involed in while driving his mustang late at night in february... all too often do we have to say good-bye to the ones we care about before we ever really get a chance to truly say hello, if that makes any sense what so ever... but as my piece says, only the good die young... i know that everyone lost in such tragedies will be proud of each and every one of us in and invovled with this conest... may all of them rest in peace... we miss them dearly...
