Hello all!
I will have many choices for you, so let's begin...
Choices
1) Write a nonet. It has to be about some form of nature.
Example at bottom of page.
2) Write a poem using lines from my poetry. You may
incorporate your own lines into the poem, and use as many
of my lines as you wish. Just tell me the poem you borrowed
them from in the authors comments.
3) Write about your favorite season.
4) Write about the songs of the birds.
5) Write about a tree.
6) Write about wisdom.
7) Write about your vision of the afterlife.
8) Write about snakes. (My favorite animal.)
9) Write an image inspired poem. The image must be of a
Gilbert Williams painting. You can find his paintings at:
www.gilbertwilliams.com He is my fav. artist.
10) Write about a belief that you don't see eye to eye
with. But, you cannot say anything bad about their practices.
You can state what they do, but not that you think they will
"go to hell for it, " and so on....

I was going to joi, but decided not to. Its an awesome contest, and oportunity.. but I just cant pick one of the choices. Plus my brain is scrambled right now. But... Wow, I've looked at every single painting on Gilbert Williamss website - truly beautiful and inspiring!! But which one to choose...?? I think you would love Jim Warren's paintings as well. Maybe I will give this contest a try - such wonderful choices you have - and I just love nature poems as well. Best wishes - I see you have some amazing entries already!!
