We, at the group Hush Hush Hush, are having our first contest! Woot! The idea is to give people a gentle encouragement to join this group
You don't have to be a member of Hush Hush Hush to enter this contest, but it sure does help

OPTIONS :
All promotions aside, here is what we want you to do! We want to you write a poem about or inspired by a particular female artist and / or one (or a few) of her songs!
So if you like Alanis Morrisette or Jewel you can write a poem about them personally (how they have touched your life), or what you felt when you heard a particular song by them, or maybe a particular song sums up a certain moment in your life. It's all very much up to you!
RULES :
1. No Sticky Caps / lingo speak / internet chat etc.
2. Use spell check, it's free... use it!
3. Please write a brief description of the artist / song you were inspired by And make sure it's a female artist you write about!
4. Poetry only!
5. One on topic prewrite allowed. Please don't enter things that are kinda what we're looking for; make sure it's relevant!
6. Unlimited original (not pre write) entries allowed.
7. Judges decision will be final.
After 20 entries the contest will be closed, so get writing

I have songs that I have written with women and songs which I wrote which have been performed by female artists, but I don't know that I want to write a song about a female artist today. Maybe Janis Ian; I may come back.
