Quotables

Words from Comments I've posted on works on this site.
This is basically a journal of all the rather quote-like words I have written without actually thinking they were quote-like. Merely just what I say or write without realizing the effect of the words.  I figured someone would want to read these besides the poets that receive them.

Mostly, short pieces, aka poems, but nothing I'd consider as finished works.  I’ve written down where the comments were posted and who wrote the poems I commented on just in case you’re wondering where to find the actual words...Enjoy your time here...

"Personality can be taken in like spoons filled with sugar. It's just a matter of whether or not people care for the flavor."
--Instant Message sent to Lionheart Feb 3, 2005

"Dearest poetic friend,
Do not worry of such placid end.
There are many out there for you
Perhaps this one just would nto do?
Take heart in that I am here
To shed a little light and cheer.
I love your poetry, soft and serene,
I hope over others this one is seen"
--Comment on Alone written by SoulMyte

"In rhyming words, I must adhere
To all the things I store in here.
I cannot stop this rhythmic beat
With rhyming in the passenger seat.
I'm sure you know by now, at least,
That rhyming is my poetic beast.
I cannot rest in poetic prose
Without a rhyme regarding those.
So with this beat I limit their fun
Before they end what they've begun.
I like this way I write today
Because it is easy for me to play."
--Comment on Not as Perfect as You Believe by dragondancer

"Such beauty in your words I see,
Though I have not such talent in me.
I envy the apple of thine eye
And wonder whose I am, shall I?
You speak in such a rhyming prose
And in two-lines it always goes.
You surprised me once with four to boot
And here again the two in suit.
I just so love your poetic writes
You possess the brightest of lights.
So here I leave a note, if you please,
I am going to feature a few of these.
I have decided that this one I love
And there is one more I'm think of.
So here's to hope that more will leave
A comment or two from up their sleeve!
Good luck, dear poet, of great renoun
I'm of to lay me head on a pillow down"

"Quiet, my weeping heart,
Listen to what he parts.
I will guide my words to say
Whatever it is or as it may.
You are a poet with greatest gifts
That my heart and soul it lifts."
--Comment on Almost written by Mr Vertigo

"In times of such we play
And often times would say
That through their eyes,
Where innocence lies,
We would like to stay."
--Comment on Creative Work of Art written by The Chameleon

"True, in war and fueds about the world,
Each warrior's anger is unfurled.
Your gentle soothing-sayer's voice
Shows all the blunder of such a choice.
So here I say, herein and now
Just one word to explain, and that is, 'wow.'"

Who grace these halls!

This is above us all.

That are to come about!"
--Comment on Together is Where We Belong poem written by *countrybabe*

"Young love, your own heart
May they, in truth, never part.
Yet still, in life so young
You must wonder what has begun.
I wish courage to end your plight
And a shoulder to cry on at night."
--Comment on My Love For You poem written by *countrybabe*

"Dream, my poetic friend,
This is truly not the end.
You ask that I keep you here
In my heart, forever dear.
Well, I thought, without a pause,
Of all the effects of the tiny clause.
No doubt many will agree
That you have a place with me.
I'll keep you close to my heart
I can only hope we never part.
So be brave, my dearest poet,
Someone here and you know it."
--Comment on No one poem written by *gothicfreak*

"In oft' I see the sorrow and pain
And all think not what it could gain.
This that is a woeful plea
Is the deepest darkness of you and me.
There in lies the greatest poet
For all to read and, hopefully, know it."
--Comment on I Hate You poem written by *gothfreak*

"Death shall only part with thee
From whenst thee of it flee.
Should not thy tongue forsake this thought,
Me thinks of only happiest of what not."
--Comment on Kit's Poem poem written by *gothfreak*

"It is what no one can explain.
Within a poet's heart
This thought it must remain.
Each writer and poet thought
That each their own
Personal difference got,
Must understand that it is, is not.
To write as each
Is as human as me.
To be as said and always so
Different is, how's it go...
A personal strife
That no one can perceive
A poet's right
To succede."

"'Tis such a sadness that
A poet writes
Of loves and dreams
And lullabyes.
Yet in their depths
A light will burn.
A light of hope
We'd often spurn."
