allpoetry.com:2500/november/published/HomePage
Read the “Allwrite Update” by the director of Allwrite, Paul Rowley (kirbysman), to discover some of the projected additions/changes that are in the works at Allwrite. These new features are scheduled for implementation in the near future, and Paul tells me there are even more innovating things in development. The staff at Allwrite is working diligently to make the magazine better - and it’s getting there for sure!
In, “The Labor of Inspiration” by Bruce Newman (Rambler), with its bronze trophy-winning graphic by Steve Gilbert (silica), you will find yourself coming face to face with the question, “Who knows what conjunction of events and personal mood may propel us into a rush of inspiration in which we breathe in some alchemical magic that results in a poem, a book, a quiet understanding, a simple insight or dazzling epiphany?" Bruce is a brilliant writer that never ceases to amaze with his philosophical pieces. He is a pleasure to read.
As you read, “Where Now?” by Jules Gilby (smilingspider), with graphics by Jen Martin (bigmammajen), you will find yourself asking, CAN we write anything new? Jules has been an active member of the site for a long time, working diligently on Oldpoetry as well as Allwrite, but due to health issues, he will be taking a bit of a break after this issue. He promises to return, and we will hold him to that. Look for a new face coming from the Oldpoetry pages in December!
In, “A Tribute to Christopher Reeve” by Paul Rowley (kirbysman), with a poem by Kelly Varner Johnson (kvwriter) and graphic by Suzi Snyder (mystysaint), you will discover a small glimpse of the marked difference his life made and the continued inspiration he left behind. He was our hero as the fictional Superman for many years, but became a hero in real life after his tragic fall from his horse. He never lost hope, and swore he would walk again. His legacy will live on, even though he is no longer with us. This tribute honors him and the inspiration he has left behind.
In the article, “A Life Copied From the Gospel” by Renee Jackson (poetryality), with graphics by Paul Rowley (kirbysman), Renee shares with us an article about Mother Teresa, an extraordinary woman and an inspiration for everyone. Renee had written a poem about Mother Teresa some time ago, and had posted it on the site. She knows how to do her research, and she writes with a passion that never seems to fade. Thank you, Renee!
Read, “Elusive Inspiration” by David Garrett Arnold (Nam) with graphics by Bob Dodson (bohb ) and perhaps you will discover what inspires us to create our art, our poetry. David shares his views on inspiration and poetry in his own unique style.
Read, “Inspiration – Take It In” by Eric Lee (dericlee), with his own silver trophy-winning graphic, along with another graphic of his grandfather – a man who had a tremendous impact on Eric’s life. Among many other thought provoking insights, he reminds us, “Where you find inspiration is a very subjective matter. What you DO with it, though…that can be the beginning of ART!”
Read, “Inspired” By Rebecca Brown (becks) and you will know exactly what inspires this wonderful, young writer here at Allpoetry.
While reading, “Inspiring an Engineer” by Paul Rowley (kirbysman) with graphic by Jen Martin (bigmammajen), you will feel as if you are sitting in the living room of one of Allpoetry’s members as he casually and candidly discusses what personally inspires him. Paul has discovered himself all over again, writing and delving into photography. Retirement has been good to him, he’s having a ball!
After reading, “The Chain of Love” by Erika Ingwersen (sleepyeyedreams), with a graphic by B G Dodson (bohb ) you will feel moved and inspired to reach out to others within your community.
In, “The Walk (A Slice of Inspiration)” by Kelly Varner Johnson (kvwriter), with the gold trophy-winning graphic by B G Dodson (bohb ) you will have your eyes opened by a story that will make you realize how much we take for granted and how little we really see what is right under our noses – all those things that take place on a daily basis, like clockwork, yet we never take notice of them. Kelly is a published author who also helps out with various parts of the magazine.
In, “Vance – My Inspiration”, By Erika Ingwersen (sleepyeyedreams) you will read an amazing story of her brother, a young man with Downs Syndrome that we would all do well to imitate. This is truly an inspirational guy, refusing to let anything stop him from doing the things he wants to do.
In, “Interview With mystysaint” by Bruce Newman (Rambler), with a great graphic by Suzi Snyder (mystysaint), you will learn more about a well known poet and site supervisor. Suzi is a very busy person, as she is a college student raising two beautiful daughters, and amongst it all, she supervises Allpoetry. She shows us all that it can be done if you want it bad enough.
In, “Interview With pari ali” by John Scunziano (oneslowtyper), you will discover an Allpoetry poet who is attracted to the simple things in life that many of us either never notice, or barely have the time to enjoy. Pari sees things in the world in a different way, and always finds beauty in the simplest of things. She is an inspiration to her own daughters, as well as her many friends on Allpoetry.
In “Becoming – Part 8” by Marianne M. Gatlin (gatlianne), read of Catherine’s continuing journey as she meets a stranger along the way who holds yet another key to her destiny. Who knows what’s going to happen to Catherine next?

Very well written
Even if I weren't already a fan of this person, the advertisement for would have had me berating my computer for be so sluggish in getting to the AllWrite site.
It's as if you've already read a goodly portion of the publication and were forced, by circumstances beyond your control, to stop in mid read.
Truely frustrating until you've managed to return and finish that which you started.
Well done M'Lady.
Well done indeed.
Be well;
Zaffen -

I thought this was a poem when I clicked on it. Then when upon reading the beginning I had thought it were a story of some kind, reading further I see that it indeed is not.
I did not want to waste the hard-earned points in which you used to promote this piece, so I am leaving this brief comment.

Thanks for putting this together and pointing us in the direction of these talented people. You did an excellent job!
-
you neverdid answer my question though...you adopted people but said you were to busy to...
-
I have read through half of the magazine, but I haven't had a chance to finish reading it. I will be sure to finish reading tonight or in the morning. These authors have worked tremendously hard on putting this together. I thoroughly enjoyed the last edition of Allwrite, and so far this one hasn't been a disappointment at all. There is so much to learn from these articles and poems, and so many poets to get aquainted with. I will leave feedback for the writers in the magazine, as I did last time. Thanks so much for posting this so others will take notice of the magazine that has been posted for us to learn from and enjoy.

I certainly will follow your advice. This site has been to just as your pseudo suggests - a touch of wonder! It has provided me with a release for many pent up issues and introduced me to many sensitive, generous and funny soulmates.
Thank you to all who provide this site and maintain it to a high standard. Bless you all. -

Bravo!
This review alone deserves the applause. Always I have felt "too busy" to read the Allwrite and have suddenly realized how much I have been missing. Still busy enough for any two people running full-tilt, with my webdomain crashed and being reassembled, another chapter in the works and too many tedious chores to be described, I am bookmarking this now, and will be back many times to enjoy what you have described.
With so many names of friends in the mix, how could I possibly refuse?
A small PS, re the left border overlap. Can anything be done?

Inspirational!
Just reading this summary is inspirational already! I sure will look at the magazine and read some of the exciting writings you've mentioned. It is great to know that there are people out there and here on AP that have such a well-developed sense of generosity and compassion! Thank you so much for sharing and for your wonderful efforts - take care!

And how about a little thanks for Touchof1der who wrote this review as well as for her ceaseless work for the Adopt-a-poet program? She is a support group, a crisis councilor, a mom, a best friend, a foxy old chick and an inspiration to us all for her ceaseless work here at AP. God alone knows what an incredible impact she has had on the lives on everyone she touches here. For more people than can be counted, she makes their days a little brighter and their smiles a little wider.
I wonder how many people know that the people who put the magazine together AND the people running the Adopt-a-poet program have to spend THEIR OWN POINTS to sponsor these programs. No, they do not perform their tremendous services for free, they have to PAY for the privilege of helping out here. So.....a HUGE hats off to all the people who make AP such a wonderful place to write.
As for me, I'm not just saying thank you, I'm sending points as well.
