Comfort food, for each and every person it is something different.
For me at this time of year, it happens to be anything in reach. Think I am kidding. The Schwan's Guy pulled in today and the light that glowed from my eyes when I saw him. I was screaming Javier the Schwan's Guy he's here! Like a child who sees the Ice Cream man.
For you poor souls who don't have a clue what I am talking about, it is food on wheels, gourmet food least so I think. I spent 60 bucks before I knew it. Got Apple Crisp, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Peach Pie, and Chicken Parmesan and these Nacho things that Javier loves. Something else that I can't remember right off hand.
It is really pricey but when you cut it down to what you spend when you go out, the price of groceries and that it comes to you? I am in HOG HEAVEN HERE.. So we had the chicken and some garlic biscuits from another order. Then the Apple Crisp.
My house smells like heaven , and though I feel like the world is coming to a end? I have a very full stomach. Food is my best friend lately, I reach for it more than I do Javier, it seems to say, hey Catressa I might not cure what ails ya, but honey, your belly will love you for it. I have made all the good stuff not only because I crave it but I want Javier to taste it all before he leaves. Homemade doughnuts, french toast (I make special french toast) going to make him Potato Soup tomorrow night. And Meatloaf on Sunday.
I figure by the time he finally does leave? I will weigh about 200 pounds, but that's okay I will have given him something to think about besides sex. ME AND DOUGHNUTS.. What could be better??

K enough said on that subject. lets talk about Food! Spaggetti with Hot Garlic Bread, Cherry Cobbler ala' Mode! Or just a big piece of Steak with a Potatao! that is a meal! Sweet little story (I'm hungry now arg!). Are you some kind of chef, or professional cook or something...? Anyone that can make meatloaf impresses me. See I can only make grilled cheese...with the cheese REALLY grilled. My mom's amazing at cooking stuff. Yesterday we ate this chicken stuffed with feta cheese wrapped around a phyllo paste. mmmmm...I'm still salivating. Anyways, funny stuff, food really is our best friend. No matter how you look, it'll always stay right there in front of you. Take care!

The world is not coming to an end, you know why? Because you wouldnt let mine come to an end, so you musnt even think that way. Eat all you want, and feed your husband too... So he'll not only have you and his beautiful children to be coming back to, but also, homemade food. I havent had homemade food in like 15 years ~laughs~ you think its funny? Its true. May I come over for dinner?
