The seashell

learn from nature
The seashell
When I looked at the seashell at first it looked too strong, unbreakable, but later when I took another look at it, it was so eaten-up by the strength of the sea waves splashing at it time after time, day after day eating a part of it.
It reminded me of life and how each day eats a part off us whether a good or an ugly part, yet the sea shell was eaten up but it had layers of salt, sand and sea lime precipitated on it making the remaining part of the shell stronger than to be broken anymore by the waves .I learned from the sea shell that no matter how much life’s waves take from us yet we shouldn’t break and every situation or a hard time that faces us that takes a part off us should give us the strength and the courage to face the next hard time cause hard times never end just as the sea waves that’ll keep splashing at the seashell till it totally disappears at the end so is life will keep splashing at us till the day we die. We should be as strong as the seashell and gain strength from those splashing waves no matter what we loose we still have to gain from the experiences and hard times to be able to survive to the end of our lives.

    I absolutely agree, Yassmin.
Actually, we have a choice -
We can lay down and shiver in the corner,
pull up our blanket, and whine about how badly
we have been treated, or.... like you say,
use the experiences and our faith to make
    us stronger and better people...
Each of us will have to choose
    how we handle life's surprises.
    Like you, I prefer the
    philosophy fot the seashell.
